State Police Update On Wrong Way Parkway Crash

11pm 2/13--#Fairfield CT--#cttraffic-- State Police say Ashley Cooper, 59 of Bridgeport  was driving her 2005 Nissan Altima southbound in the northbound lane near the Morehouse Highway overpass in Fairfield last night and struck a 2016 Acadia SUV driven by Jeffrey Butler, 51, of Shelton and a RAV 4, identified as William McGeorge, 54, of Park Avenue.  Cooper and Butler were injured and transported to the hospital by AMR.  Butler's passenger and McGeorge were not injured according to the state police accident report.  The highway was shut down for over an hour.  Cooper was charged second-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving and driving the wrong way on a divided highway.

Bridgeport News: Stolen Car Tries To Run Over Police

Police UPDATE: Officer F. Ferrao and Recruit Officer D. Roberts were in the area of Jewett Avenue and Peet Street looking for a reported 'suspicious' white vehicle. The said Officers and Officer O. Elena approached the said vehicle (described only as a 'White Challenger' displaying Ct. Reg. 647-RWR/ Reported stolen out of Shelton, Ct.). Norwalk News: Home Invasion Arrests

#Norwalk CT--On November 23, 2017, at 1:00am, Norwalk Combined Dispatch received a 911 call from 7 Midwood Drive. The caller reported that several people had broken into the residence and had viciously assaulted one of the occupants. Patrol Officers arrived on scene and discovered a single male victim, suffering from numerous stab and slash wounds, however, the suspects had fled the scene. The victim was transported by ambulance to the Norwalk Hospital. Members of the Norwalk Detective Bureau and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene. The investigation, led by Detective Brendan Collins, revealed that multiple masked assailants forced entry into the home.
