On 5-29-18 at approximately 12:20pm, Shelton Police and Fire were dispatched to 281 Canal St on a report of a partial building collapse. A section of the rear of the building collapsed and fell into the river. Nobody was inside the building at the time of the collapse. The Fire Marshal and the Shelton Building Inspector arrived on scene and are evaluating the building. DEEP was also notified. 11:40pm--#Shelton CT-- Viewer Brian Cooper sent in this photo of a fire on Toas Street. Shelton's Bravest were able to contain it to the bedroom on the second floor. There was no word on any injuries.
3:40pm--#Seymour CT-- Firefighters on scene of a large condo fire at 380 South Main Street. Radio reports said it was an attic fire that has spread through the condos.
