Update – Reyes is still in police custody and is scheduled to appear at Derby Superior Court today (9-26-19). On 9-25-19, Shelton Police received numerous reports regarding a threatening video that was posted online. The video shows a gun and the male states that if someone messes with him tomorrow and he goes to school he is willing to kill someone. Police were able to quickly identify and locate the male in the video. Police also located and seized a weapon that matched the weapon in the video. 18 year old Eliezer Reyes, a Shelton High School student, was arrested and charged with Threatening 1st Degree, Breach of Peace 2nd Degree, and Brandishing a Facsimile Firearm. 2019-09-25@ 8:47am--The Ansonia Police Department received a complaint of a child on the roof of a house on Main Street. Officers located a two-year-old male on the roof of 681 Main Street about 30 feet above the ground. Officer Christopher Kelley was able to talk to the child and keep him from moving around the roof while Sergeant Christopher Flynn and Officer Peter Lovermi III forced entry into the house to get to the child off the roof. Inside the home was the child’s father, David Hustek, and the child’s aunt, Sarah Barker. Both had been sleeping and unaware the child was on the roof of the house. #Ansonia CT-- On September 14, 2019 at about 9:15 A.M., the Ansonia Police Department responded to the Stop & Shop Plaza on Division Street on a report of a dispute involving weapons. Officers located and identified Kamrin Crawford, age 43, of Ansonia and Woodrow Ogman, age 33, also of Ansonia as the people involved in a dispute over a parking spot. During the argument, both Crawford and Ogman damaged each other’s cars, and there was a 14-year-old juvenile in Ogman’s car while Crawford damaged it. Ogman reported Crawford was armed with a hammer and metal pole, which he used to damage Ogman’s car and assault Ogman. Ogman suffered a possible broken hand, a laceration to his arm and an injury…

POLICE UPDATE: On September 16, 2019 at about 12:05 A.M. the Ansonia Police Department received a report of shots fired in the area of Fourth and Fifth Streets. Officers located a 29-year-old male, from Bridgeport, on Fourth Street near North Main Street, who had been shot twice. The male was shot in the hip and leg, he was transported to a local hospital where he is listed as serious but stable condition.
