2019-10-15 #Stratford CT-- #Fairfield CT-- In a report I was first to report here is the press release and mugshot from Stratford Police: On 10-15-2019 Stratford Police Officers investigated a commercial burglary at the CITGO Gas Station located at 805 Main Street. The burglary occurred at approximately 0115 am. Based on surveillance video a suspect and vehicle description was obtained. The suspect caused approximately $2000 dollars in damage to the business and stole approximately $300 dollars worth of merchandise. At approximately 0915 am Stratford Detectives observed the suspect vehicle, a red Pontiac Sunfire and attempted to stop the car. The operator refused to stop and Officers broke off the pursuit. Fairfield News: Stratford Burglary Suspect Apprehended After Manhunt

2019-10-15@10AMish--#Fairfield CT-- #Stratford CT--Stratford Police pursued a vehicle that was a suspect in a burglary. Just before it entered the Fairfield Town Line on North Avenue, they terminated the pursuit. Fairfield Officers located the suspect's vehicle near Algonquin Rd. And began a track with our K9. The suspect is described as a 50-60 year old white male wearing a grey hoodie and green and white sneakers. He was seen on a home surveillance video fleeing the vehicle east on Algonquin toward Brooklawn Ave.  K-9 Jagger with his handler Kevin Wells apprehended the suspect who was then turned over to Stratford Police.

Bridgeport News: Grant award of 3,300 Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors

Westport News: Criminal Attempt at Larceny 6 th Degree

2019-10-09 @  7:04pm #Westport CT--Police  officers responded to the West Elm store, 35 Main Street, on a complaint of a customer attempting to make an $8.00 purchase with what was suspected to be a counterfeit $100.00 bill. According to staff, when the customer was told that the bill did not look real, he attempted to pay for the item he had selected with a $10.00 bill and did not ask for the $100.00 bill back. This behavior raised further suspicions and prompted the call to police. Responding officers located the individual in question, identified as Alex Burnett-Deroche, and initially detained him while the matter was being investigated. Bridgeport News: Dirt Bikes Impede Firetrucks
