Bridgeport News: 3 Overdoses At The Same Time

2019-08-31 @ 7:54pm--#Bridgeport CT-- There were three overdoses in two part of town that kept first responders busy.  The first were two unresponsive males in the 300 block of Wilmont Avenue.  They initially did not respond to Narcan and required advance life saving support.  Eventually both were revived.   Another overdose took place when a woman called on Hanover Street that her boyfriend overdosed, she had administered Narcan but he did not respond to it.  First responders did get him to respond.   Overdoses happen everyday but I stopped reporting them because of the frequency of them.  It's like reporting shots fired calls.   This news report is made possible by:

Fairfield News: Spat On Da Floor

2019-08-31 @ 4:20pm--#Fairfield CT-- The unusual calls, especially on Kings Highway East continue.  The Akita Restaurant at 451 Kings Hwy East called the police to report that three people came to the restaurant, spat on the floor and then left on foot towards Bridgeport.  Last time I was there they told me to watch the fish until my table was ready.  I didn't know there were options. Bridgeport News: Dirty Politics?

UPDATE: After THREE attempts to get an "official" word on this incident, Terron Jones, Bridgeport Police Spokesperson replied "On 8/30/2019 at approximately 1948hrs, a 911 caller stated that there was a suspicious person (white male wearing all black, a mask, holding a rifle) near the 100 block of Brewster St.  The BPD were on scene at 1953hrs where they searched the immediate and surrounding areas. The Bridgeport Police did not find any authentication of the callers report of the suspicious person."   2019-08-30 @ 8:15pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police were called to Port Five at 69 Brewster Street for a suspect going behind Port Five wearing all black "an amour mask" carrying an automatic weapon.  Police found no one like that but…
