Westport Police UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as Cullen Walsh (age 39) of Weston, CT. Preliminary information indicates speed and a failure to negotiate the roadway were factors in the accident. The incident remains under investigation. Westport Police UPDATE: Weston Road is closed between Sipperley’s Hill Road and Silver Brook Road for a fatal motor vehicle crash investigation. Shortly before 1:00 a.m., the Westport Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a large fire in the area of 57 Weston Road.
