Bridgeport News: Crash Sends 1 Car Into Building
8:43pm--#Bridgeport CT-- One person was injured in a two-car crash on Main Street at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue. First responders confirmed that the driver of the car went into the building fled on foot after the crash but police apprehended him a short time later. The building at 100 Main Street, The Funchal Americana Buffet received significant damage as well.
Governor Malloy’s Portrait Inveiled
#HARTFORD, CT – The official state portrait of Governor Dannel P. Malloy was unveiled during a ceremony today at the Museum of Connecticut History that was attended by the Governor, First Lady Cathy Malloy, Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, family members and friends, administration officials, and former and current staff members. Commissioning a portrait of each outgoing governor as that person is completing his or her duties in office is a longstanding tradition in Connecticut that dates back to the early 1800s.
