11:44pm--#Fairfield CT-- 2 males are in custody after a fight in the street at Churchill Street. There was a brief foot pursuit with police.
10:57pm--#Stratford CT-- A man in in early 20's was shot in the foot by another young male on Wiklund Avenue. The suspect fled into Bridgeport but was located near Court D after a brief manhunt.
12:35am--#Milford CT-- #cttraffic-- A serious rollover crash I-95 northbound near exit 39B. Expect delays, no word on injuries.
4:30PMish-- #Stratford CT--#Bridgeport CT-- A jet was forced to belly land after its landing gears would not come down. The jet circled the area to burn off fuel. First responders from both Bridgeport and Stratford converged at the airport located at 1000 Great Meadow Road. The airport is run by the city of Bridgeport on land in Stratford. The jet made a perfect landing on the runway with sparks and flame trailing behind it but there was no fire once the aircraft came to a stop.
5:51pm--#Bridgeport CT-- How about some likes for Sergeant Melody Pribesh who talked a man out of setting himself on fire. Moments were very tense at Read Street as a twenty-year-old man sat in his SUV and was pouring lighter fluid on himself threatening to light himself on fire. Sergeant Pribesh was able to talk him out of it and the man is now getting the help he needs. Way to go Sergeant Pribesh! 10:30PMish--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a crash on North Avenue at Center Street Extension involving one of their own. A number of people were transported to the hospital including the police officer's ride-along passenger and a child in one of the cars. It is unknown if the officer was injured. I counted three vehicles including the police car involved in the crash. Police are investigating. The officer was NOT involved in a pursuit.
8:009pm--#Fairfield CT-- Police received a call from a citizen reporting a car illegally parked in the handicapped parking in front of the Nauti Dolphin at 195 Unquowa Road. Police then received a call from the person parked in the handicapped sport reporting the woman is beating on his car. She allegedly did it on porpoise.... This news report is made possible by:
