#Westport CT--The Westport Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying the two pictured individuals in connection with a larceny investigation. On August 16 th , 2018 at approximately 1:30pm, a victim reported her wallet was stolen from her purse while shopping. A short time later, several of her credit cards were fraudulently used in an attempt to make purchases in neighboring towns. Anyone with information to assist in identifying these men is asked to call the Westport Detective Bureau at (203) 341-6080.
#Westport CT--On 02/07/2018 at approximately midnight, a motor vehicle stop was conducted on Jesup Road in front of the Gillespie Center. The vehicle did not have an illuminated rear marker plate and was found to have an expired registration. The operator was also unable to provide proof of valid insurance. The operator advised the officer she worked at the Gillespie Center and identified herself as the victim. She was issued a misdemeanor summons for those charges in that name. The victim was later made aware of the stop and summons and contacted the Westport Police Department on 06/16/2018. 2:09am--#Bridgeport CT-- A car hit a truck according to witnesses and the driver fled on foot. The accident occurred on Union Avenue at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue. Witnesses said it was a young teen driving.
