#cttraffic--UPDATE: The suspect in a blue Audi continued into Bridgeport as I predicted, hit a van near exit 29 and was boxed in at 27A.  Viewer Oscar captured the suspect being taken into custody.  Thanks, Oscar!   #cttraffic--A state police pursuit on I-95 southbound in excess of 100 mph starting in New Haven.  The hit stop sticks in Milford but going 80mph with one tire down riding on the rims.  My money is it will come to an end in Bridgeport, they always do!

Governor Renames Non-Essential Employees Level 2 Employees

HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he has signed an executive order modifying the terminology used to describe the designation levels of executive branch state employees during weather-related and other emergency situations. Previously, when the state has experienced severe weather or other types of emergency situations, executive branch state employees have been referred to as “essential” or “nonessential” based on their respective job duties as required to address the needs of Connecticut’s residents in the face of urgent situations that can have an adverse effect on health and safety. Bridgeport News: UI Scammer Or Electric Solicitor

#Bridgeport CT-- A viewer just message me that there is someone in the upper Main Street area asking to see copies of her UI bill. She is afraid it is a scam. UI and police say if a person says they are from UI they will have identification on them.  You still do not have to let them in your home.  You can call UI offices to verify there are workers in the area.   More than likely it was a person trying to get her to switch to the electric supplier they represent, which is the reason they want to see the bill.  They want to show you how they can save you money.  Either way sadly you just never know.…
