Bridgeport News: Shots Fired Causes School To Lock In/Out

1:18pm--UPATE: They were unable to determine where the shots were from. Milford News: Foran HS Students Transported To The Hospital

Officals said: “It is believed the students fell ill due to overheating while standing on risers under the stage lights,” the statement said. “Emergency medical personnel were deployed to Foran and four students were brought to local hospitals for further evaluation as a precautionary measure. Of the remaining students who fell ill, six were released to their parents to go home and one felt well enough to remain at school.”   10:41pm--#Milford CT--Four students in Milford were taken to the hospital during a chorus practice on Monday.  Fire officials said about 200 students were in the auditorium at Foran High School for chorus when one student became overcome by heat.   Eight students in total were affected, but only four were transported…

Norwalk News: Narcotics Arrest

On March15 2018, members of the Special Services Division conducted a surveillance operation in the. During this operation, Francis Bruno was observed conducting a narcotics transaction in the Taylor Avenue area. After observing Bruno committing several motor vehicle violations, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of 497 Connecticut Avenue.   A Darien Police Department Canine Officer and Police Service Dog Kenny responded to the scene to assist. PSD Kenny indicated for the presence of the narcotic odor in Bruno’s vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded one hundred twenty-four grams of powdered cocaine. The cocaine was packaged in forty-eight separate bags of 1.15 gram and 3.7 gram weights. Bruno was in possession of $1439. Officers seized…

Norwalk News: Drug Arrest

#Norwalk CT-- On March 13, 2018, members of the Special Services Division and the Detective Bureau conducted a joint operation within the City of Norwalk. Detective Brendan Collins had previously secured an arrest warrant for Andre Roberts. This stemmed from an investigation into a home invasion that occurred on November 23, 2018 at 7 Midwood Road. At the time of the home invasion Roberts was a resident of 7 Midwood Road. During the investigation into the home invasion, Detectives located and seized 700 Xanax pills, 1.5 pounds of marijuana packaged for sale, $9,000 cash and numerous Ziploc plastic bags consistent with those used to package marijuana for sale.
