1:33am–#Bridgeport CT– Police received calls for shots fired on Fairfield Avenue near Ruby II’s with a black car seen fleeing the scene. While police were investigating they heard shots fired down by Popeyes on Fairfield Avenue. They are investigating.
1:11am–#Bridgeport CT– Police are investigating of a possible break in at an Alice Street residence. The tenant came home to find her door off the hinges and several items in the home broken.
12:02am–#Fairfield CT– Report of a couple having “relations” on the south side platform at 165 Unquowa Road. Ironically near the Naugty Dolphin Restaurant. I wonder if they did that on porpoise? All aboard!
9:44pm–#Bridgeport CT– A man is in custody after holding a gun to his mother and another woman on Pixlee Place after the family learned of their eviction. The shotgun was recovered as well.
8:35pm–#Bridgeport CT– A naked man was passed out in the mens room after a possible overdose at the Dunkin Donuts at 2165 Boston Avenue. Police are escorting EMS with the person to the hospital.
#Westport CT–On May 1, 2017, the victim of this incident came to the Westport Police Department to file a fraud complaint. The victim stated his employee, Michael McCrorken, wrote fraudulent paychecks to himself from the business. The victim owns the company A Dash of Salt which is a catering company located at 971 Post Road East. The victim discovered digital copies of checks made out to McCrorken from his business which he did not authorize. All of the signatures on the checks made out to McCrorken were not the owner’s signature. Officer Taylor Field worked closely with the victim and Webster Bank and determined that 37 fraudulent checks were created and signed by McCrorken which totaled over $23,000.00. Officer Field submitted an arrest warrant to Norwalk Court for the arrest of McCrorken. On August 29, 2017, Westport Officers responded to the Adult Probation Office in Norwalk and took custody of McCrorken who had an appointment that day. McCrorken was transported to Westport Police Headquarters where he was processed for the Larceny and Forgery charges. He was held on a $25,000 bond.
#Fairfield CT–On 09/07/2017 at 1:27 pm Fairfield officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Commerce Drive near Coolidge Street for a misuse of a registration plate. During the routine traffic stop for motor vehicle charges, K-9 Jagger conducted an air scent on the exterior of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of a narcotic odor on the driver door seam. A subsequent search of the interior resulted in K-9 Jagger alerting that there were narcotics inside the vehicle. Officers seized an undisclosed amount of marijuana and ecstasy from the driver and a small amount of marijuana from the passenger.
The driver, Freddie M. Jackson, DOB: 04/24/1986 of Washington Avenue Bridgeport, was arrested for possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana and several motor vehicle charges. The passenger, Vincent Ambrose Derr, DOB: 07/27/1987 of Iranistan Avenue Bridgeport, was issued a citation for possession of marijuana. Both were released at the scene.
