1:15pm--#Stratford CT-- Police on scene of a possible kidnapping at Honeyspot Motel. A woman called police and said she was kidnapped. Police Chief McNeill told me they are trying to sort all of this our. The area is cordoned off. My last text with the chief was at 1:57pm request update and/or on-camera interview when he or Captain Eaonnotti is available. The chief is very responsive to inquiries.

5:44pm-- #Bridgeport CT--Police said a man was shot at the intersection of State and Howard Avenue. He then fled towards Fairfield Avenue and collapsed feet away from the intersection in front of 798 Howard Avenue. Police spokesperson Av Harris said his wounds are not life-threatening and that they have one person in custody.

Malloy announced his decision to accept the State of Connecticut into the federal First Responder Network Authority plan to deliver a wireless broadband network to the state’s public safety community. #Middletown, CT (January 2, 2018): Connecticut State Troopers warn residents of a scam using the “Connecticut State Police” name. The Connecticut State Police has learned that the Connecticut State Police name is being used in an attempt to fraudulently obtain money from victims. A victim was contacted by an unknown person claiming that a personal check written by the victim, made payable to the Connecticut State Police, bounced. The unknown person provided the victim a “case number” and claimed that the alleged bad check was in reference to a payday loan. #Norwalk CT--On December 20, 2017, members of the Norwalk Police Department Special Services Division served three arrest warrants for Sara Flavin.
