1:11am–#Bridgeport CT– Police are looking for a man who crashed a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee on Lindley Street and fled foot. Police are near Ezra Street looking for the man. The car was stolen with key off Benson Street earlier.

8:30pm–#Southport CT–#Fairfield CT– A man has amputated two fingers in a folding chair at 1000 Harbor Road. First responders on the way.

7:28pm–Motor vehicle accidents continue to dominate the breaking news today. Witnesses to the accident told me the white Toyota station wagon was allegedly driving at a high rate of speed and ran the stop sign at Smith Street and slammed into a parked tractor trailer on Newfield Avenue near Orange Street. The driver, a woman was unresponsive and trapped requiring firefighters to extricate her. Her condition is not known at this time.
4:04pm–#Fairfield CT– Firefighters are on the scene of an odor of gas indoors at Chaves Bakery at 401 Kings Hwy East. Employees report to emergency dispatch an odor of gas with all ovens off. Firefighters request the gas company to the scene.

2:49pm–#Bridgeport CT– Two children inside the SUV were injured when a dirt bike struck the car on Captial Avenue near Main Street.
12:33pm–#Fairfield CT– Stratfield Avenue at Bond Street was closed after a head-on collision. The blue car’s engine compartment caught fire after the impact. No one was in the car at the time. Police said it appeared that there were minor injuries. The roadway reopened after 1pm.
1:04am–#Bridgeport CT– Tonight’s vehicle fire was in the Black Rock section of town at Brewster Avenue near Fairfield Avenue. The driver told me he was giving a friend a ride. Just before the friend got out the SUV started sputtering and he pulled over and notice a fire under the hood that spread to the rest of the vehicle.
12:17am–#Bridgeport CT–Report of a one car rollover accident on Thorme Street. First responders on the way.

7:03pm–#Bridgeport CT– Everyone was out of the vehicle when this car caught fire after a crash at Merriam and Lindley Street. The occupants of the other vehicle fled on foot.
