12:00am--#Bridgeport CT-- It seems to be a night of fencing as another car has hit a fence, this time at Housatonic and East Washington Avenue. This time the car and drive stayed on scene but he is reported to be combative to the EMTs. Earlier a car hit the fence surrounding a church at Pequonnick and Washington Avenue. 9:30pm--#Bridgeport CT--#cttraffic-- A two car crash with possible entrapment I-95 southbound where else but 27A. It appears to be in the left median, traffic does not appear to be too bad.
7:45pm--#Fairfield CT-- Report of a motorcyclist and his passenger down at South Benson Road and Craig Place. No mention of any other vehicles involved. This news report is made possible by:
7:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A three car crash at Chopsey Hill Road and Island Brook Extension. First responders just arriving on scene. No word on any injuries. This news report is made possible by:
1:44am--#Bridgeport heavy fire to two houses 41 and 51 Lee Avenue. Firefighters quickly had 51 Lee Avenue under control but firefighters could not make entry to 41 Lee Avenue due to heavy fire in the stairwell. After a short time the fire was so heavy in 41 the evacuation tones were sounded and the firefighters were ordered out of the building and fought the flames from the exterior. Within the hour the fire was under control. Firefighters from surrounding towns provided mutual aid to cover the empty firehouses. As of 2:40am there were no reported injuries. 7:35pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A single car crash into a utility pole at Housatonic and North Washington Avenue. The driver suffered serious leg injuries according to firefighters who extricated him from the vehicle.
5:18pm--#Bridgeport CT-- There is a tree down on Grovers/Old Battery Road between Armitage and Anchorage Place. The road is blocked and power is out in the area. This news report is made possible by:
