Bridgeport News: Shots Fired At Memorial Service

11:12am–#Bridgeport CT– Earlier we reported shots fired at 181 Trumbull Avenue.  A white car fired one shot into the memorial service that was being conducted there for Chaz Rogers who was shot and killed on Stratford Avenue last week.  No one or anything was hit.   I received multiple calls that Mayor Ganim was either in attendance or was driving in the area when the shooting took place but Police AJ Perez says this did NOT happen.  Three reporters that I’ve worked with in the past reported the mayor was in attendance.  I’m waiting for a return call from the mayor’s office.
