#Seymour Connecticut-- Earlier this morning firefighters knocked down a detached garage fire at 24 Roosevelt Drive. Police reported there was ammunition in the garage. There were no reported injuries. During firefighting operation the garage began to bow and firefighters had to finish the attack with the ladder truck. #Stratford Connecticut--Around 8:15 A.M. Stratford Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at TD Bank on Ferry Blvd. near Main St. A female making a cash deposit was approached by a white male armed with a hand gun who robbed her of about $2,000.00. The male fled to a waiting gray 2005 Lexus RX330 bearing CT 885TTA being operated by a black male. The vehicle was stolen on 1/3/17 in Bridgeport. Stratford Police Press Release Another bank robbery occurred at the TD Bank at Old Town and Main Street in Bridgeport. An arrest was made and Detective Captain Fitzgerald of the Bridgeport Police said an arrest was made and he believes the two bank robberies were related. …
8:30am-- #Stratford Connecticut--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- The Key Bank at 225 Hawley Lane in Stratford and the TD Bank at Old Town and Main Street were robbed. A silver handgun was shown during the robberies. Police were looking for a gray SUV. Just after 10:30am Bridgeport Police took one in custody. Captain Brian Fitzgerald said they believe the man they arrested is also responsible for the robbery in Stratford. This news report is made possible by:
#Monroe Connecticut--On Wednesday, Monroe firefighters extinguished this mason dump truck fire in the driveway of a home on High Ridge Dr. No one was injured.
#Bridgeport Connecticut--On January 7, 2017 at 2105 hours a shooting incident occurred at 1001 E. Main Street. Elianna Cruz (3-24-90) suffered a gunshot wound to the head during this incident. She had been admitted to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment since being shot. On January 11, 2017 at 1510 hours, Cruz passed away. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on January 13, 2017. This shooting is actively being investigated by detectives, and there are strong leads in the case.
