Bridgeport News: Shots Fired

12:16pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut–Police on patrol in the area of Knowlton/Noble Avenue heard shots fired and saw two cars flee.  One took off towards Beach Street. The other car towards William and Armstrong Place which police were able to stop.

Bridgeport News: Armed Robbery

7:31pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut–A man was just robbed at gunpoint by a black male with a white t-shirt over his face wearing pajama bottoms on Albion Street.  He fled on a bicycle towards Fairfield Avenue.  Another person on a bicycle was waiting for him.

Weston News: Boy Stuck In A Tree

5:46pm–#Weston Connecticut– Firefighters dispatched to Ridge Road for an eight year old boy stuck in a tree.  Yup its a slow news day and yes, you see we do cover Weston!

#Westport Connecticut—On September 21, 2016 at approx. 6:24 p.m. officers were dispatched to 1790 Post Road East, Stop & Shop, on report of a shoplifting. It was further reported that the suspect, identified as Louis Bottone, was being detained by store security. The Security Officer Reported that he observed Mr. Bottone place a total of fourteen packs of Energy Drinks into a shopping bag and then watched him walk out of the store without paying. The Security Officer confronted Bottone outside of the store and detained him until the police arrived. The value of the stolen merchandise was $146.46. Mr. Bottone was charged with Larceny in the 6 th Degree and he was held on a $500 bond with a court date of September 28, 2016.
