10:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man was jumped by two teens at Park Avenue and Pequonnick Street. Taken was cash and his cellphone. Police are investigating.

8:50pm--#Bridgeport CT--#Stratford CT--The Dominoes deliveryman from 1802 Barnum Avenue was robbed at gunpoint in front of 145 Cowles Street (off Stratford Avenue). The two robbers netted $19 in cash and the guy's phone.
5:53pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on scene reporting smoke coming from the front of 1952 East Main Street on the first floor for a kitchen fire. If it was really bad they could call our friends at ServPro at 203-981-0402 and he would make it Like it never even happened. UPDATE: It did turn out to be food burning from/in the self cleaning oven.
5:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man was outside the Xtra Mart at 540 Boston Avenue, punched in the face and had $100 taken from him. The suspect fled in a red Ford, the victim got a plate number but it comes back to a different car. Police are investigating. If take your motorcycle or quad out tomorrow and the battery is dead, see Larry at Interstate Battery at 125 Holland Ave, Bridgeport. He even has the hard to find batteries in stock. They are open Saturdays 8pm to 1pm.
3:43pm--#Trumbull CT-- Report of a car that crashed into a wall at Spring Hill Road and Sherman Circle.
3:19pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A person was robbed at gunpoint at the intersection of West Liberty Street and West Avenue. The robber, a male in a yellow shirt and blue jeans fled towards a factory, and left the gun at the scene. Lots of police activity in the area.
(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Connecticut Department of Labor has been awarded $823,791 in federal funding that will be used to continue efforts to build a database linking workforce and education data. 1:34pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of a purse snatching that just occurred at Frank Street and Catherine Street. The snatchers fled towards Nanny Goat Park. Update-- One suspect is now in custody.
12:45pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on the way to Iranistan and Gregory Street where there is a car stuck in the water and occupants are stuck inside. If it looks flooded it probably is! Don't take a chance and you can't blame it on Friday the 13th! The occupants of the car on Iranistan and Gregory got out safely.
