12:20am--#Bridgeport CT--If driving on East Washington near Knollton Street avoid the unconscious man laying on the bridge. First responders are on the way.
10:22pm--#Bridgeport CT--If you are on the East Side especially around Tudor Street police are looking for a man with no shirt walking around with a shotgun. Police were called to a disturbance on Remington Street, it turned out to be on Dover Street. A shot was fired from the shotgun, no word on anyone or anything being hit.
2:46pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police were dispatched to Stratford Avenue for a man with a gun. Police located the man and gave pursuit. The man was captured after he threw the gun into the river on the Yellow Mill Bridge. The police dive team is being dispatched.
12:39pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a drive by shooting that took place in the 1100 block of Park Avenue near Washington Terrace. Witnesses tell me that there were four shots fired and "Be On The Lookout" radio reports said police were looking for a large burgundy vehicle, there was no maek or model given. One of those bullets found the neck of a young teen boy who was shot in the neck. Police spokesman William Kaempffer said the teen had non-life threatening injuries. The boy was transported St. Vincent's Hospital, his condition unknown at this time.

Malloy today announced that the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is now accepting appointments for learner's permit tests in the Old Saybrook office as part of the department's major computer upgrade so that businesses and customers can do more transactions online without coming into a DMV office. Old Saybrook now joins Waterbury, Danbury, Bridgeport, Cheshire, Norwalk, Wethersfield, Hamden and Willimantic in offering learner's permit testing by appointment.
