Arrest made on Fairfield Hazmat Case
On Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 at 4:20 pm, Fairfield Police and Fire Department personnel responded to 1625 Bronson Road, a private residence for a report of a burglary and possible hazardous materials at that location. Personnel secured the scene and requested the assistance from Federal, State and local agencies. It was determined by Connecticut State Police and CT D.E.E.P that explosive and flammable materials found in the home needed to be removed for public safety. On Monday, October 07, 2013 the resident Joseph Callahan DOB 11/15/43 of 1625 Bronson Road Fairfield, CT 06824 was arrested at Fairfield Police Department.
