Sullivan Independence Hall, 725 Old Post Road. Yet it's been over two years since the Fairfield Police Department has had a contract or even a cost of living increase. 9:22pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police were called by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to Bridgeport Hospital for a thirteen year old girl who was allegedly beaten by her uncle. A camera to document the injuries were requested to the hospital. No further info is available.
7:54pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police and firefighters on scene of a three car accident, one person with serious injuries Main and Summit Streets.. The traffic in the area is reported to be a mess.
7:22pm--#Westport CT--Firefighters were called to 365 Post Road West which is near the Norwalk town line for a strong odor of ammonia according the caller. Firefighters thoroughly checked the are including businesses but found nothing.

On March 13, 2013 the Connecticut Department of Public Health Laboratory notified Fairfield Health Department that a raccoon collected in the Hill Farm Road area of Fairfield did test positive for rabies. The raccoon did come in contact with a household pet and that pet had an up-to-date rabies vaccination. Because of this, the Fairfield Health Department is reminding residents to be alert for animals in local neighborhoods that appear to be suspicious. Neighbors within a half mile of where the raccoon was collected have been notified via Code Red. This area notified is more that 15 times the average range of a raccoon.
