Warrant Results in Seized Firearms, Arrest of Bridgeport Man

#Bridgeport CT-- On 10/12/2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m., members of the State Urban Violence and Cooperative Crime Control Task Force, Statewide Narcotics Task Force, and the Bridgeport Violent Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at an address on Perth Street in Bridgeport after detectives developed information indicating that a resident was illegally in possession of multiple firearms. During the investigation, it was learned that the resident, positively identified as Louis A. Feliciano, DOB 08/14/1985, was ineligible to possess firearms in the state of Connecticut. Milford News: Drug Possession and Warrants

#Milford CT-- On October 11, 2023, Officer Studdard was working near 1201 Boston Post Road. At approximately 1841 hours, he saw Jeffrey Yu exit a car and go into the mall. Officer Studdard knew Yu from past experiences and was aware that there was a warrant for his arrest. Upon returning to his vehicle, Yu was approached by officers and asked to get out of his car. Yu refused to do this and resisted arrest. After a struggle, officers were able to get him out of the vehicle and place him under arrest. During the arrest, officers discovered that Yu was carrying drugs and drug-related items. Further investigation showed that Yu was also facing several other charges from previous incidents.…

The Norwalk Police Department is asking for help from our community in identifying two robbery suspects. On October 11, 2023, at 7:37 PM, Norwalk Police Combined Dispatch received a 911 call from an employee of Al’s Warehouse Liquor Store, 617 Connecticut Avenue, who advised that she was robbed by two women. The victim stated she was assaulted by one of the suspects as she attempted to confront her for stealing a bottle of liquor. The victim declined medical treatment. Fairfield News: Pedestrian Fatally Struck

#Fairfield CT-- On Wednesday October 11th, 2023 at approximately 07:13am hours, The Fairfield County Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting a pedestrian being struck by a garbage truck (United Carting) in the area of Campfield Drive at Bloomfield Drive in Fairfield. Emergency personnel located the 28-year-old victim who was pronounced dead at the scene. The State Medical Examiners personnel took the victim from the scene. OSHA also arrived on scene to investigate. The operator of the garbage truck has not been charged at this time and was transported to Bridgeport Hospital. All of the notifications to the victim’s family have not been completed at this time. The Fairfield Police Crash Reconstruction Unit is actively investigating this incident.
