State police report that the car crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer that was stationary. Brian Lambert, 63 of West Haven died from his injuries. Next of kin was notified. 2022-11-30@1:00pm--#Milford CT-- Avoid I-95 southbound in Milford due to a crash. Bridgeport News: Police Station “Incident”

#Bridgeport---At approximately 2:30pm the City of Bridgeport City Hall located at 45 Lyon Terrace was placed on a Lock-In/Lock-Out out of an abundance of caution due to a visitor making a threat inside one of the departments. That individual a short time later was apprehended and placed into custody by the swift work of the Bridgeport Police Department. 5 Bridgeport Police Officers Resign

Officers Devin Polite, Judson Brown, Officer Natalie Luty and Jonathan Ferrao have resigned and will be going to Shelton Police. Officer Carlos DeJesus resigned and will be going to Weston Police. Officer Matthew DeFilippo resigned and will be going to Derby Police. There are just 6 officers in the police academy. HOLIDAY CONCERTS SET AT STRATFORD LIBRARY

Harmonica History, NEGS and Sister Cities Featured This Year             The Stratford Library, 2203 Main Street in Stratford will present three special holiday concerts on consecutive Sunday afternoons in December. The annual event is also the final program in celebration of the Library 125th anniversary year.  It is sponsored this year by the Janice Daponte Memorial Fund. The concert schedule includes The World of Harmonica on December 4, The New England Guitar Society on December 11 and The Stratford Sister Cities Chorus set for December 18.  The concerts, held in the Library’s Lovell Room at 2 pm each Sunday, are free and open to the public.   The World of Harmonica is presented by harmonica virtuoso Bob Hennessy and is an effort to expand the awareness of the instrument.  Using Story Telling, Historical Facts and playing…

Fairfield News: What’s Going On At Joe’s American Bar and Grill?

I met with Mark S. Barnhart, Director of Economic Development the other day and asked him about any recent developments at the former site of Joe's American Bar and Grill located at 750 Post Road. Many businesses have complained to me about it being an eyesore. Mark said the developer of the site has taken out a permit to make improvements to the facade. He said there has been interest in the site but no commitment.
