#Westport CT--On June 30, 2022, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Westport Police officers responded to the TD Bank located at 185 Main Street on a report that a man was attempting to fraudulently obtain a debit card by impersonating the real account holder. The suspect was still in the bank when officers arrived. He said his name was Edward Tucker and presented a Pennsylvania driver's license with that name. The bank employee said that a Norwalk branch of TD Bank notified the Westport location that the suspect was supposedly trying to engage in the same fraudulent activity there and to be aware should he come to Westport. Milford News: On July 6, 2022, Milford Police responded to a New Haven Avenue residence. The victim stated that they found their clothes in a pile covered in bleach. After an investigation, it was determined that Reginald Boyd had doused the clothes with bleach. The clothes were valued at $1200.00. He was released on a promise to appear in court. Video Report with Police UPDATE: The homicide victim has been identified as 32-year-old Ramon Gonzalez-Peguero Jr. of Hartford CT. The non-fatal shooting victim has been identified as 18-year-old Kazzmaire Dorsey of Bridgeport CT. (stable condition) On July 10, 2022 at approximately 4:55 pm Bridgeport Police responded to reports of (2) subjects shot in the area of the Atlas Gas Station located within the 1700 block of Fairfield Avenue. Upon arrival Officers located 2 victims; each suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police Officers and medics began life saving procedures and quickly transported both victims to area hospitals. On Saturday July 9, 2022 at approximately 10:30pm the Fairfield Police Emergency Communications Center received several 911 calls reporting shots fired at the banquet hall to Calvin United Church located on Kings Hwy East near Hibiscus Street. First arriving officers located an unresponsive male victim in the hall and immediately began lifesaving measures. The victim was transported to Saint Vincent’s Medical Center by AMR where he died as a result of his injuries. Soon thereafter, police received notice that a female victim had arrived at the hospital suffering a gunshot wound to the jaw. She is currently listed in stable condition. 2022-07-09@10:30pm-- 3 shot, 1 critical at a shooting inside Calvin Hall/Hungarian Bistro at 30 Hibiscus Street (off Kings Highway). Police from surrounding towns were called to disperse the large crowd from the streets. K-9 from surrounding towns called to track the shooter who is still at large. The hospitals were put on lock-down due to large crowds.
