Police UPDATE: On 12/25/2021 at 2225 hours patrol was dispatched to Cumberland Farms at 1101 PostRoad for a report of a man being robbed at knife point while in his vehicle. The manstated to Fairfield Dispatchers that this incident occurred around ten minutes prior to thecall and believed the individual had fled southbound on Beach Road but was not givinga description of the vehicle. Patrols arrived on scene and met with the complainant, who showed a blurry picture ofwhat appeared to be a small black vehicle fleeing the area. On-Star called police reporting an accident of Chevy Colorado which turned out to be the striking vehicle. On-Star gave the subscriber's address on Ruane Street and police located the vehicle in St. Thomas's parking lot with heavy front end damage and deployed air bags driving erratically and took the person in custody.
