One parent who was leaving told me one of the board members allegedly got upset and the board members went to their secured, locked offices. I did check the meeting room where there was about 20 people sitting quietly in the meeting room.

Fairfield News: Stolen Car Hits Cop Car-Gets Captured

2021-08-17@1:01pm--#Fairfield CT-- A Stratford Police car was following a stolen Lexus on I-95 southbound when they lost sight of the car at exit 26. The car got off in Fairfield, police successfully flatten one of the tires with a spike strip. The car turned onto the dead-end part of Halley Avenue when the car turned around and hit a parked car and a police car. The car turned onto Kings Highway then onto I-95 southbound when it pulled over near exit 23 and surrendered. A man (driver) and a woman were taken into custody.

2021-08-16 #Bridgeport CT-- Many of you had messaged me on Facebook about a raid that took place on Park Avenue at Pequonnock Street. I reached out to Bridgeport Police who reported: On August 16, 2021, the Bridgeport Police Narcotics and Vice Division executed a search warrant at 1668 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT “Smokers Box” smoke shop. During the course of the investigation, undercover Police Officers purchased marijuana from the business which does not possess a dispensary permit or license to sell recreational marijuana. Pursuant to the search warrant Officers located extremely large amounts of marijuana, Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) vape devices, untaxed cigarettes, and edible THC.  All priced for sale inside the store.    In addition, Officers seized two handguns, one was a stolen 9mm pistol, and the other was a 9mm pistol with a high-capacity magazine. Westport News: First Selectman Announces Resignation of Operations Director

#Westport. CT - First Selectman Jim Marpe announced today that Westport Operations Director Sara Harris will be leaving her position in the First Selectman’s Office to accept a consulting opportunity in the private sector.  Harris has submitted her resignation effective August 27, 2021.
