2021-08-07@11:39pm--#Bridgeport CT--- The driver was injured and transported to the hospital in what appears to be a single car accident in the 500 block of Harral Avenue. Expect the road to be closed until they clear the roadway.
2021-08-07@11:01pm--#Fairfield CT-- The McDonald's on Black Rock Turnpike has evacuated due to a carbon monoxide alarm. Firefighters are on scene metering the building.
2021-08-07@9:20pm--#Fairfield CT-- Fairfield Emergency Communications received a call for a smell of gas or some other type of odor at 15 Shoreham Terrace. Quickly, the received another call that the 2nd floor window had been blown out. A short time later firefighters called for a full structure fire assignment. Within fifteen minutes they had the scene under control with one hand line in operation. There were no reported injuries and the fire marshal is on scene investigating the cause of the fire.
2021-08-07@1:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- I had a number of viewers contact me about a large police presence and a cop with a bloodied fact at East Main and Berkshire Avenue. They even chased him into a viewer's backyard who was frightened and reached out to me. I contacted police who responded at 4:19pm: "At approximately 1400hrs, BPD was attempting to take into custody a party with a possible firearm. A foot pursuit ensued and is currently still active at this time. Once a final police report is approved we will provide additional information.
