Bridgeport News: Arson Suspected In Club Fire2021-02-16@4:20am--#Bridgeport CT-- Arson is suspected in an overnight fire at Perfections Lounge at 1603 Barnum Avenue. First arriving companies found fire in the building and flames from the roof. Due to the layout and construction type of this commercial building there was considerable heat and fire contained within, and a second alarm was struck for additional resources. Searches were negative and the fire was extinguished with no injuries reported. However, security video on Barnum Avenue shows a man running down the street on fire. It is thought the man allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail through a window in the back of the business.

The owner was two hours away and said they would respond if there was a problem. Police arrived and found no issues.

2021-02-16@12:12pm--#Fairfield CT-- Police investigated a road rage incident involving a knife after the two drivers pulled into the Shell station on Black Rock Turnpike. Both drivers were given verbal warnings Fairfield Police said in a statement: "At approximately 12:12pm on 2/16/21 a motorist called 911 to report they were threatened with a knife by the operator of another vehicle which had pulled into the Shell station on Black Rock Turnpike. Police officers arrived on scene at Shell and located both the complainant and opposing vehicle operator who were separated. Bridgeport News: Firefighters Battle A Heavy Fire On The East Side
2021-02–15@11:31pm--#Bridgeport CT--#ctfire--Firefighters were called to a multi-family fire on the east side at Arctic and William Street. Firefighters were met with heavy fire on both the first and second floor and a defensive attacked was called as well as a second alarm.
