2020-05-17@12:04am--#Fairfield CT-- A "disagreement" between college students leads to an arrest on Fairfield Beach Road. Police said when the attempted to speak with the suspect he fled leading a short manhunt in the 1000 block of Fairfield Beach Road. He was captured a short time later.
There is no police report completed at this time however; what the preliminary report from ECC indicates a pedestrian came into the roadway and a vehicle struck him. The driver stayed on-scene the injuries were non-life threatening. Again all according to the ECC Report, which is preliminary information. Once PD completes their report I will get it over to you. 2002-05-16@9:04pm--#Bridgeport CT--A pedestrian was hit on Boston Avenue near Central Avenue and appeared to be unconscious and in serious condition. There did not appear to be any striking vehicle on the scene.
8:38pm--UPDATE: The kayaker and kayak have been safely recovered by Fairfield Fire led by Assistant Fire Chief George Gomola. 2020-05-16@8:25pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on the way to Penfield Lighthouse for a kayaker who overturned. 2020-05-16@12:25pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters were called to a crash with injuries across the street from 333 State Street. The firefighters had to extricate the driver from the silver car which was pinned against the parking garage. State Street is currently closed at Lafayette Boulevard.
