If you see him call the police, they lost him near Madison Avenue. Police encountered the car but it took off at a high rate of speed on I-95 and the pursuit was broken off. Westport Police located the car near exit 17 but not pursue. 2020-04-02@11:39pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters received a call for a house fire in the 100 block of Harborview Avenue, near Harborview Market. The fire was in the back of the home. Radio reports said the homeowner ran back into the home to retrieve the pets. There were no reported injuries. The fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
Police UPDATE: On April 2, 2020 at 2258 hours, police received a Shotspotter activation in the area of 468 Trumbull Avenue reporting multiple gunshots fired in the area. Officers responded to the scene and located a crime scene. A 32-year-old male victim was transported by private vehicle to St. Vincent's Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and groin. Detectives processed crime scenes at the hospital and on Trumbull Avenue, and are working to establish a motive and leads in the case.
