Two Arrests in Greenfield Hill Burglaries
Fairfield Police Arrest Two Following Investigation into Greenfield Hill Residential Burglaries Fairfield, CT – On the evening of 9/24/2026, Fairfield Police arrested two individuals following an extensive investigation into a series of residential burglaries in the Greenfield Hill area. Arrested were Levan Aleksidze, age 40, and Mamuka Chaganava, age 47, both of Brooklyn, New York. Both were charged with Conspiracy to Commit Burglary in the First Degree and held on $100,000 bonds. Recently, Fairfield experienced several residential burglaries with similar circumstances in the Greenfield Hill area. In each incident, the homes were unoccupied at the time of the burglary, with the suspects targeting high-end jewelry.
