10:10pm--#Stratford CT-- Firefighters were dispatched to 125 Ontario Street for an industrial fire in a dryer room according to radio reports. A Google search says this is Cray Valley Inc. which deals with plastics and popolymers according to their website. Firefighters arrived and found heavy fire on the roof and had it quickly knocked down and spent only about a half hour extinguishing the bulk of the fire. Four workers were evacuated and checked by EMS. Firefighters have called the Hazmat Team in for decontamination. They also called in the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection and the fire marshal to investigate. A recall was sounded around 11:30pm. There are no reported injuries.
8:18pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A pedestrian was hit by a car in the 600 block of Brewster Street (the Mattie's Corner side). The victim was conscious and responsive to first responders.
7:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man was shot outside Greene Homes in front of Junco's by a couple of males who fled on foot towards Greene Homes. The victim fled the gunman and ran towards Washington Avenue where he collapsed in front of Happy House Restaurant. 3:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters responded to the piers next to the train station on Water Street where they reported the piers fully engulfed in flames. They quickly knocked the fire down and recalled in a short time. This report was made possible by:

7:35pm Saturday, October 25--Police are investigating a break in in the 2700 block of Morehouse Drive home over the weekend. A woman told police she went to the mall and locked her doors. Her ninteen year old son came home a short time later fro m a trip to pick up a pack of cigarettes and found the front door latched from inside. He went around back and found the basement sliding door broken and open. Several rooms in the home were ransacked. Some of the items taken was a 3 carrot solitaire diamond ring valued at $27,000, another ring valued at $4,800, 2 Movado watches valued at $400 each and $3,000 cash tucked behind a dresser drawer.…
