2019-08-16 @ 5:30am---#Bridgeport CT-- Police officers were dispatched to a report of a party stabbed at 530 William Street. When they arrived, they found the victim, Ernesto Esquilin (DOB: 3/9/44 of 530 Willliam St) covered in blood. Medics transported the victim to Bridgeport Hospital. He is listed in critical condition. 2019-08-15 @ 7:00pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A person was injured at 589 Trumbull Avenue when the oil they had on the stove flashed over sending the person to to the hospital with burns. UPDATE: Much To Do About Nothing-- This was originally dispatched as a $30,000 embezzlement. Amy Thibault, Stop and Shop Manager of External Communications and Community Relations said the "$33,000 embezzlement did not happen". According to a preliminary police report police were called for a $33.00 larceny. An employee took a package of condoms and chips up to the employee lounge. Amy Thibault said it was an outside employee. 2019-08-14 @ 1:46pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Two suspects are in custody after a crash during a pursuit. The suspects failed to negotiate the turn onto Hollister Avenue from Orange Street and hit a retaining wall. The suspects hit their heads on the windshield and were taken to the hospital. At least one firearm was recovered. I have multiple calls in for more details and I will pass them along as soon as I know!
