Fairfield News: Man Found Dead After Crash
2019-12-07@1:42AM--On Saturday, the Fairfield Police Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call at approximately 0142hrs reporting a single motor vehicle crash on Black Rock Tnpk near Finn St. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, a single vehicle was found to have crashed into a parked car and a subsequently a tree on the property of a home at the corner. The sole male occupant and driver of the vehicle was found to be deceased in the vehicle. There were no passengers in the vehicle and nobody else was injured as a result of this collision. Fairfield News: Officer Injured In Shoplifting Incident
2019-12-08@1:34pm--Police were called for a shoplifting on Suynday at the Stop and Shop at Villa Avenue. Over $1,000 in merchandise was taken. Two officers located the suspects pushing a Stop and Shop shopping cart with the stolen merchandise in it at Maplewood and Howard Avenue. Police spokesperson Lieutenant Robert Kalamaras said in a statement that when the officers approached the two men one ran off and the other engaged in a struggle with officers. One of the officers sustained some scratches on his arm. Terrel Harley, aged 28 was charged with larceny and interfering according to the statement. This report is made possible by:
