Fairfield News: Shots Fired

2019-11-16@8:45pm--#Fairfield CT-- Police received a call for 8 shots fired in the Rolling Hill Drive area.  About 20 minutes later neighbors at Deepwood and Rock Ridge Road called police for gunshots. Fairfield News: Verizon Robbed

Police UPDATE: On 11/16/19 at approximately 5:20pm, a Hispanic male and a black male entered the Verizon store located at 1929 Black Rock Turnpike. They went directly to the first display inside of the store where the black male cut the security wires to a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and a Samsung Galaxy Tab E. The black male asked several times where the iPhone's were. He also threatened to use physical violence against the store clerk if he did not comply. The black male then proceeded to the iPhone display, where he cut the security wire for an iPhone 11 and an iPhone XS Max.   During the robbery, the Hispanic male was walking around the store on his cell…

Fairfield News: Six Cars Hit

#Fairfield CT--On 11/14/2019 at 6:30pm officers responded to the area of Grace St. on a report of a motor vehicle collision. Officers on the scene determined that the driver, later identified as Christopher Garcia, was attempting to park his car and in the process struck four parked cars and one vehicle that was traveling on the roadway. During the investigation, officers determined there was probable cause to believe that the driver, Christopher Garcia, was under the influence. Christopher Garcia, DOB: 09/02/1994 was arrested for Operating Under The Influence, Evading Responsibility, and Reckless Driving. Garcia was held on a $500.00 bond. Attorney General William Tong said history is repeating itself as “20 years ago Attorney General Blumethal took on big tobacco companies because they were marking to kids”. Attorney General Tong feels that companies like Juul is marketing to kids “with different flavors and social media marketing” and he is launching his own investigation.
