News that Amazon is looking for another city to host its second headquarters has Mayor Ganim and Fairfield Selectman Mike Tetreau very interested to be home to the largest Internet-based retailer in the world. “We believe that the City of Bridgeport and Fairfield County have the attributes and meet the criteria that Amazon is looking for as evidence displayed in the analysis done by Market Watch, which publicized 12 cities throughout the country, Bridgeport is one of those cities selected,” explained Mayor Ganim. UPDATE: The victim is identified as 17-year-old Nagee Crowder of Fairfield CT. After Crowder was transported to the hospital, resuscitative efforts continued until 8:10pm, at which time St. Vincent's medical staff pronounced Crowder dead. Witness accounts stated that several juveniles were swimming in Perry’s Mill Pond. Crowder was observed jumping into the water off of a paddleboard and when his friends saw him in distress they made attempts to help but were unable to save him.
