Carlos Ernesto Morales-Rodriguez of Maplewod Avenue, Bridgeport was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd (CGS 53a-103) and Criminal Attempt to Commit Larceny 6th ( CGS 53a-49/53a-125B) after Morales-Rodriguez was observed entering a vehicle which was parked in the driveway of a home on Brookside Drive. On 10/16/2020 at 1:21am, a homeowner on Brookside Drive reported observing a vehicle traveling on Brookside Drive had slowed down and turned it’s lights off. The vehicle’s operator then parked the vehicle on the street, exited the car and walked onto the homeowner’s property. The homeowner exited his home and went outside to investigate. Fairfield News: Trouble In Southport

2020-10-01@2:50pm--#Fairfield CT--#Southport CT-- A motorist that got off exit 19 rolled down his window to speak to who he described as a homeless male standing at the bottom of the ramp. The male asked for money and as the driver was about to drive away the homeless male took out a canister and sprayed an unknown substance believed to be pepper spray at the driver. The driver pulled into the 7-11 and called the police. He is being treated at the hospital. The suspect is a white male, 40-50 years of age with blonde/gray hair and beard with a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and sandals. He was thought to be frequent visitor at the Westport train station. UPDATE: According to the police, the driver of the Subaru mya have had a medical episode while pumping gas.  He took off with the pump still attached to his car when he struck the oil truck.  It was determined the medical episode caused the accident.   2020-09-21@2:50pm--#Fairfield CT-- A Subaru and oil truck collided on Black Rock Turnpike near Overlook Road where the road narrows and turns.  The driver of the Subaru was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Fairfield News: Driver Injured In Crash

Police UPDATE: On Sunday 09/20/20 at 2045 hours, the Fairfield Police Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call reporting that a vehicle had just collided into a tree near the Traffic Circle, just east of McDonald's located at 536 Post Road. On scene, Officers located a red Volkswagen Beetle in the grassy portion of the traffic circle esplanade, where Post Road and Kings Hwy Cutoff intersect. Officers discovered heavy front end damage and found the operator of the vehicle laying on the ground nearby. The operator, identified as a 21 year old Weston Resident was boarded and collared by AMR and FFD personnel. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for evaluation.
