Norwalk Detectives are investigating a car theft that occurred outside the Family Markert at 72 Taylor Avenue on June 4, 2017. The pictured suspect stole a vehicle that was unlocked and running outside the market. #Norwalk CT--On June 18, 2017 at 2:40 am, a male smashed out the front passenger window of a vehicle in the lower level of the Haviland Street Garage. The suspect stole clothing and fled on foot. 8:08pm--#Norwalk CT-- A man at 356 Main Avenue has called the police to tell them that President Trump told him to call the police because Pinky and his brother are harassing the president and that they have knives and guns. Norwalk Detectives are investigating a commercial burglary at Rowayton Pizza on Rowayton Avenue that occurred during the overnight hours on June 10, 2017. The suspect broke out the front window with rocks and then entered the business. Once inside the suspect took the cash register before fleeing in a small sedan, possibly a Toyota. #Norwalk CT--Today Dr. Janice Duffy, Dr. Charlie Duffy and Sue Gabriele came to the Norwalk Police Department to present a check from the Norwalk Veterinary Hospital Fundraiser. The event, which was held in April 2017, raised money for the Norwalk Police K9 Unit and the Fairfield Police K9 Unit. The event raised $10,372.17 for the NPD K9 Unit. The same group presented a check to the Fairfield K-9 unit last week for the same amount.
