Stratford- On 01/07/2020 the Stratford Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit, with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Task Force as well as the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, executed a Search Warrant for Narcotics and Firearms related violations. The Search Warrant was the culmination of an investigation conducted by the Stratford Narcotics and Vice Unit that focused on Narcotics Sales and Firearms related crimes within the Town of Stratford and Fairfield County. On January 12, 2019 at approximately 2:20 AM, Eduardo Concepcion was sitting in his vehicle on Regency Terrace. Two unknown assailants approached Concepcion’s vehicle and a verbal argument ensued. At some point during the argument, several shots were fired into the car killing Concepcion. The suspects were both dressed in dark clothing. One suspect was seen with bright white sneakers on. Both suspects fled the scene following the shooting on Peace Street towards Thompson Street. Help the Stratford Police take these dangerous suspects off the street.   A $50,000 REWARD is being offered for information leading to the ARREST AND CONVICTION of these suspects. The Stratford Library “Books Over Coffee” program concludes its 2019 series with a discussion of New Milford author Terri-Lynne DeFino’s popular novel, The Bar Harbor Retirement Home for Famous Writers (And Their Muses), on Wednesday, December 18th at noon. The program, guest hosted this month by Kathleen Faggella and featuring the author, is free and open to the public. Stratford Fire Department Awards Ceremony

2019-12-11--#Stratford CT-- Tonight, the Stratford Firefighters presented awards to firefighters who went above the line of duty as well as police and dispatchers as well as unit citations. Firefighters Steven Ash and Jacob Hall were sworn in to the department. DC/FM Brian Lampart was awarded the 30 year pin, Lieutenants Kevin Lantowsky, John Roberts and Firefighter Gregory Anderson were award a 20 year pin and Firefighter Richard Barry received a 10 year pin. Samuel Khalil of Vazzy’s Italian Restaurant was awarded the Citizen’s Award for consistent support to the Stratford Firefighters.

#STRATFORD – Following the state-mandated (C.G.S. 12-55) 2019 Revaluation process in the Town of Stratford, residents can expect to receive their Notices of Assessment Change in the mail next week.  The notices will demonstrate what the previous assessed value based on the October 1, 2014 Revaluation of their real property was, and what the new proposed assessment will be for the October 1, 2019 Revaluation.
