Stratford News: Narcotics/Firearms Arrest

#Stratford CT–During the month of October the Stratford Police Narcotics Unit began an investigation into alleged narcotics sales within the town. The subject of the investigation, George Siler age 27 of Stratford. According to information gained throughout the investigation Siler was providing low and mid lever dealers with Heroin. Investigators were able to obtain a search warrant for Siler’s residence located at 943 Success Avenue. The warrant was executed on 12-12- 2017 by members of the department’s Special Response Team and Siler was found to be in possession of two stolen handguns, heroin and packaging materials.
Based on this information Siler was taken into custody and charged with:

Operating Drug Factory 21a-277(c)
Sale of Narcotics 21a-278(b)
Sales w/in 1500' Daycare 21a-278a (b)
Illegal Transfer of Firearm 29-33** (2 cts.)
Obliterated Serial Number 29-36
Theft of Firearm 53a-212
Criminal Poss. Firearm (2) Counts 53a-217
Criminal Poss. Ammunition 53a-217
Siler was held on a $250,000 dollar bond and is scheduled to appear in court on 12-19-2017.

 

Stratford News: Narcotics Arrest

#Stratford CT–On December 6 2017 Christopher Andujar and Angel Santiago, both of Bridgeport were arrested following a search warrant executions at a Main Street address and Priscilla Street residence in Bridgeport. The warrants were the result of an investigation conducted by the Stratford Police Narcotics Unit. Bridgeport TNT and Gang Unit assisted with the warrant executions. Both Andujar and Santiago were found to be in possession of a large quantity of Heroin and Cocaine. Over ½ a kilo of Heroin and approximately 160 grans of Cocaine and packaging materials was seized.

Andujar was charged with:
Operating a Drug Factory in violation of C.G.S. 21a-277(c)
Possession with Intent to Sell Heroin in violation of C.G.S. 21a-278(b)
Possession with Intent to Sell Crack/Cocaine in violation of C.G.S. 21a-278(b)
Conspiracy to Sell Heroin in violation of C.G.S. 53a-48/21a- 278(b)
He was issued a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on12/13/2017.

 

Santiago was charged with:
Possession with Intent to Sell Heroin in violation of C.G.S. 21a-278(b)
Possession with Intent to Sell Crack/Cocaine in violation of C.G.S. 21a-278(b)
Operating a Drug Factory in violation of C.G.S. 21a-277(c)
Possession with Intent to Sell Heroin within 1500 Feet of a School 21a-278a(b)
He was issued a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on 12-13- 2017.

 

Stratford News: Bar Robbery Suspect Apprehended

#Stratford News:  On 11/28/2017 Eric Chambers age 33 of Bridgeport Connecticut was apprehended by members of the Fugitive Task Force as the result of a warrant issued for his arrest. The arrest stems from his involvement in a Robbery that took place at 2399 Main Street in Stratford in which a victim was shot.
The investigation and warrant were completed on November 21 st . He was charged with 53a-134 Robbery in the First Degree. Chambers was given a court date of 12/6/2017.   He is being held on a $250,000 bond.

Bridgeport Police: EbLens Get A Way Driver Involved In Stratford Bar Shooting

#Bridgeport CT– Police spokesperson Av Harris confirmed a lead I received that the driver of the getaway car in this morning’s robbery at EbLen’s at 586 Pequonnock Street was involved in the shooting the bartender at Bar at 2399 Main Street in Stratford Tuesday night.  I am working on getting a full report.

 

Stratford News: Bartender Shot During Robbery

#Stratford Police Press Release: On 11-14- 2017 an armed robbery occurred at Stratford Center at BAR. The robbery occurred shortly before 7pm when an unknown male entered the bar, approached the bartender and demanded money. The bartender complied, was shot once in the abdomen. The unknown suspect fled the scene on foot and officers are attempting to locate him. At this time a description is not available.
The victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where is undergoing surgery for his injury. Officers and Investigators are still processing the scene and speaking to witnesses.
