Bridgeport Detectives Seek Identity of Robbery Suspect
#Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 16, 2014– A business owner was shot in the foot during a robbery of his store Monday night on Boston Avenue. Officer Albert Palatiello responded to Hair Plus at 161 Boston Ave. at 6:26 p.m. on a report of a robbery and a gunshot victim. Sgt. Vincent Verrillo and Detectives John Tenn also responded. Police learned that a male entered the store, pulled out a gun and demanded money. He took an undetermined amount of cash and a customer’s handbag. During the course of the robbery, the store owner, Se Jong Chung, 55, was shot in the foot. Tenn secured still photos from the store’s security system.
