Fairfield Police UPDATE: Fairfield Police UPDATE: On Sunday December 13, 2020 at approximately 12:39pm, a Fairfield Police Officer was advised by apasserby that a person had just been struck by a vehicle on Reef Road just north of Veteran’s Park (865Reef Road).  When police arrived on the scene, they found the male lying on the ground in front of 783 ReefRoad and was suffering from several injuries.A preliminary investigation revealed that Michael Smith (25) of Fairfield was walking south on thesidewalk in front of 783 Reef Road when he suddenly crossed over Reef Road without looking foroncoming vehicles according to witnesses.
