Fairfield Police UPDATE: Fairfield Police UPDATE: On Sunday December 13, 2020 at approximately 12:39pm, a Fairfield Police Officer was advised by apasserby that a person had just been struck by a vehicle on Reef Road just north of Veteran’s Park (865Reef Road).  When police arrived on the scene, they found the male lying on the ground in front of 783 ReefRoad and was suffering from several injuries.A preliminary investigation revealed that Michael Smith (25) of Fairfield was walking south on thesidewalk in front of 783 Reef Road when he suddenly crossed over Reef Road without looking foroncoming vehicles according to witnesses. 2020-12-12@11:15pm--#Stratford CT--#Milford CT-- #cttraffic-- A multi-car / tractor-trailer accident on the Moses Wheeler Bridge I-95 southbound between exits 34 and 32 are shut down due to the accident. Heavy fog is making travel difficult. Firefighters reporting a heavy diesel leak from one of the tractor-trailers All people in the cars have minor injuries, the tractor-trailer operator has more serious injuries. Bridgeport News: Head-On Collision

Police UPDATE: On December 11, 2020 at approximately 9:20 pm the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center received the report of a Motor Vehicle vs Motor Vehicle crash on the Yellow Mill Bridge located on Stratford Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut. A black 2010 Honda Civic was travelling westbound on Stratford Avenue approaching the Yellow Mill Bridge at a high rate of speed when it crossed over into the eastbound lane of Stratford Avenue and crashed into a grey 2016 Hyundai Sonata.  The Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on the Stratford Avenue when it was struck on the bridge.  The crash caused severe damage to both vehicles.  Both operators and a passenger in the Honda Civic had to be extricated from their vehicles…
