Fairfield News: Assault On A Disabled Person

On November 26, 2018, the parent of a male juvenile came to the Fairfield Police Department to file a report regarding injuries on his son. The parent reported that his autistic 15-year old son attends a school that works directly with autistic children and he has been attending school there for about 5 ½ years. The parent reported that on November 19, 2018 his son returned from school and he noticed some distinct injuries to the juvenile’s arm. After further investigation and review of surveillance footage pertaining to the bus transportation of the juvenile to his school, it was determined that injuries located on the juvenile were consistent with actions taken by the transportation aid over a period of time.…

Derby News: Person Shot

A short time later another report of a person assaulted, punched in the face by the Riverwalk near at Main and Route 8 north entrance ramp. Bridgeport News: Two More ATMs Found

Bridgeport News: Stolen ATM Found In Roadway

10:22pm--#Bridgeport CT-- An ATM taken by two masked men out of the Duchess at 93 Boston Avenue was found in the roadway at Glenwood and Boston Avenue.  The suspects fled in a white pick-up truck that was stolen out of Stratford.  They took the ATM out of the restaurant with a dolly.   Noticias de Bridgeport: Encontraron un ATM 10:22pm--#Bridgeport CT—El ATM de Dutches fue robado por dos hombres enmascarados en la 93 Avenida Boston. Ganim Issues Discipline On Scrapgate

Bridgeport, CT –   Mayor Joe Ganim today announced that the City of Bridgeport has taken swift disciplinary actions against several city employees as a direct result of an internal investigation for mishandling funds related to the sale of scrap metal.   In coordination with Labor Relations, and effective immediately, Director of Public Facilities, John Ricci will forfeit the equivalent of four weeks of pay, as two weeks of employment salary as well as two weeks of vacation time.  Three additional employees of the Department of Public Facilities are also charged with violating city policies and ordinances and will be receiving charges. “These disciplinary measures have no ramification on any criminal investigation that is moving forward,” said Ganim.  “As I stated a month ago…
