#Milford CT--On January 11th, 2019, at approximately 0630 hours, Troop "G" dispatch began receiving emergency 911 calls reporting a tractor-trailer collision on Interstate 95 Southbound, between Exits 41 and Exit 40 in the city of Milford. Troopers responded and found that Vehicle #1, the only involved vehicle, a 2019 International Tractor, bearing Tennessee Registration H4278HY, which was pulling a 53-foot cargo trailer full of bottled water, had been traveling in the right lane of three in the area of the Quarry Road overpass. Fire in Bridgeport Affects 2 Businesses And Many Tenants

9:09pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters were called to the corner of Wade Street and Wood Avenue for a report of a fire. Firefighters discovered the fire was coming from Bombons Market at 260 Wade Street, not the apartments above as first thought. The firefighters were delayed in their attack as the had to cut open the steel roll up security doors. As soon as the made entry they were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. The fire filled the Peking Restaurant next door with smoke, along with the apartments upstairs. There were no reported injuries. The fire marshal was called in to investigate the cause of the fire. Bridgeport News: 3 Youths Arrested After Robberies and Striking A Bicyclist

#Bridgeport CT-- Just before noon 3 youths were arrested after a short pursuit in the University of Bridgeport area. The youths robbed a person and then fled in their stolen Jeep, then struck a bicyclist on Railroad and and Hancock Avenue. The bicyclist is in critical condition. Then robbed and beat a person on Park Avenue near the university, they netted the man's cellphone. An officer in the area located the vehicle driving down University Avenue the wrong way. A short pursuit ensued, the driver of the Jeep crashed into a tree. The three youths fled on foot but police quickly apprehended them.
