2020-01-07 @ 1:00PMish--#Bridgeport CT-- A two block pursuit ended when the suspects hit a landscaping truck at the intersection of Noble and Barnum Avenue. One of the suspects was injured in the crash and transported to the hospital. Police spokesperson Terron Jones said "At this time, original reasoning for the pursuit is not immediately available" but I did observe a number of under cover officers at the scene.

UPDATE: The American Red Cross is helping five families – fifteen adults – one child after a fire today on Maplewood Street; Bridgeport. The Red Cross provided assistance to meet the families’ immediate needs. Responders included: Denny Davila, Carmen Davila and Susan Shaw. The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant; shaving supplies and other items a resident might need when suddenly displaced from their home by a fire. In addition, a recovery envelope containing information helpful to families recovering from a fire, including tips on cleanup; notification of important contacts; dealing with damaged items and more was provided. (Westport, CT) On Monday January 6, 2020 at approximately 1:06pm, officers responded to the parking lot of 1137 Post Road East on a report of a stabbing that had occurred at that location. Callers reported that a single male suspect had stabbed a female within the parking lot and had subsequently fled the scene in a vehicle. Officers and emergency responders located and rendered aid to a female victim that had suffered multiple stab wounds. The victim sustained serious injuries as a result of this incident and was transported to Norwalk Hospital for further treatment. #Westport CT--On Saturday December 21, 2019 at approximately 4:35pm, officers responded to Parker Harding Plaza on a complaint of a multi-vehicle accident that had occurred within the parking lot. Upon arrival it was determined that a vehicle had been traveling the wrong way within the lot. Upon swerving to avoid oncoming traffic, the operator of this vehicle struck a total of three other vehicles that had been parked within the lot. This operator was identified as Fredda Peel.
