UPDATE: State Police accident report says a car operated by Hongying Tian of Avon, CT was traveling at a high rate of speed when she struck a vehicle operated by Ambroos Pilla of New York, New York. Tian's car traveled into the median, breached the metal guide rail and struck a large tree, then traveled across both lanes of Route 15 into the grassy shoulder and came to a rest against several trees and brush. The police report said Pilla's car suffered minor damage no was he injured. Tian was ejected from the vehicle and was transported to Norwalk Hospital by Norwalk EMS where she was pronounced dead.
