10:57pm--#Shelton CT-- A woman crashed into a utility pole on Commerce Drive near Bridgeport Avenue. She was unconscious for a moment but is now out of the car and alert according to radio reports. This news report is made possible by:
6:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a shots fired incident at Park and Harral Avenue. Radio reports said one person arrived at Bridgeport Hospital in a private vehicle shot in the leg. A witness said they thought two people were shot. This is breaking news and none of this info has been confirmed. It is subject to change. If I get any updates I'll post it here.
#Fairfield CT-- A Fairfield School Resource Police Officer was first on the scene of a fire this morning. Officer Mike Guilfoyle was at the intersection of Putting Green and Harvester Road when awoman on her phone flagged him down and said her house was on fire. Officer Guilfoyle had noticed white smoke coming out the front door and notified the Emergency Communications Center of the situation and the fire department was dispatched. He also made sure everyone was out of the building but made a sweep of the building to make sure no one was inside. He noticed the putrid smoke was getting thicker but saw no flames and he had closed the door as instructed by the fire department.…

#Westport CT-- On Monday, Westport Fire Department dispatchers received numerous calls for an animal rescue on I95. A family of ducks had been observed trying to navigate I95 at rush hour, resulting in nine ducklings falling into a storm drain. Rescue 3 and the Shift Commander responded to I95 North to provide assistance, meeting up with CT State Police Troopers just prior to exit 17. A DOT Safety Patrol vehicle provided critical barrier protection for those working on the highway. Firefighters used a variety of hand tools, hydraulic rescue tools and metering equipment to gain access to the storm drain. 6:00AMish-- The FBI raided the Bridgeport Health Care at 600 Bond Street this morning around 6am. In the past, there were alleged employee complaints about the company ’s failure to meet payroll and alleged financial mismanagement. Last month the facility filed for bankruptcy protection.
