Bridgeport News: Man Shot
1:01pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man called his mother at work in Danbury to tell her he was shot while walking on Main Street near barbershop and farmer's market. The man continued walking down Charles Street to Parrot Avenue where he collapsed in front of 240 Parrot Avenue. The mother continued relaying information to police. A witness told me she heard three loud gunshots in front of her house in the 180 block of Parrot Avenue (I did pass the info to detectives). The man was shot near the right armpit according to radio reports.

Connecticut Citizens Defense League is speaking out against Governor Malloy
The Connecticut Citizens Defense League is speaking out against Governor Malloy's executive order seizing firearms and denying purchases to individuals who are on Federal Government "lists". Comment from CCDL President Scott Wilson: "Governor Malloy is planning to take what is in our view unconstitutional executive action that would prohibit firearms purchases and seize firearms of individuals who have not been indicted or convicted for any crime.
